Description/Reviews
The album extends over the flow of 13 tracks, including lead single Dismissal. That song kicks off with a near-hypnotic vocal performance and with a beautiful carpet of keyboards and synths, only to leave room for a really powerful full-on band session. The drums are present, fat and roomy, perhaps more so than on most progressive metal releases: I am loving the natural feel of these drum performances, and the way the band is able to switch through genres seamlessly, blending in electronica, blues, metal, alternative rock and even folk with a gothic flavour.
