Description/Reviews
As per the previous few albums, ARNIOE likes to create their music around a specific theme.
"Doesn't It End Here" is the story of the first Chinese Qin Emperor (Qin Shi Huang) who instructed over 700,000 craftsman to build an underground city where he would then eventually live in the afterlife. This entailed a replica city of Xianyang, including sky, stars and a river (unfortunately made of mercury). To protect him, he ordered craftsman build 8000 life size Terracotta soldiers, 130 chariots and over 650 horses. All this is UNESCO Heritage listed and can be seen close to the Chinese city of Xien.
The music is based in the style of YES, which is very varied, moody and at times quite complex.ARNIOE has retained the same musicians as on the past 2 albums but to ad more drama has invited special guest Liz Sisales to feature on a few songs playing Viola and Cello....the combination is brilliant. So..sit back and relax and experience the drama, turmoil and passion which is...."Doesn't It End Here ?"
