Description/Reviews: 

The Aqualung play a blend of alternative rock in the vein of Dredg and The Intersphere, and post rock in the style of The Ocean, Toundra and Long Distance Calling. Other noticeable influences reach from Leprous to djent ambient, such as Tesseract or Chimp Spanner.
The quartet's compositions are quite emotionally driven. Mellow parts of rather melancholic and sad emotions usually take off with heavy outbursts of despair and rage, which then flatten down again, only to calm back into another mellow episode.
